How We Explore
Mars Education is devoted to helping students make connections in Earth science through Earth and Mars comparisons. These comparisons reveal much about the universe and the Earth's place in it, not only in the similarities between these two planets, but also in their differences. How we explore Mars and other planetary objects reveals not only our understanding of our own planet, but our ability to use our planet as a template for understanding other planetary bodies. Mars Education has created interactive and simple lessons based on the National Science Education Standards (NGSS) that focus on the process and technology of Earth and space exploration to aid students in the understanding of how we are currently exploring our universe.
